老公一晚四五次都不够The port terminal devoted to handle fresh produce in the Port of Trieste, Terminal Frutta Trieste SpA or simply TFT, was recently acquired by the Samer Group, but its business dates back to 1986, first under public governance, and since 1994 through private owners.

The company imports fruits and vegetables, mainly from Mediterranean countries such as Egypt, Cyprus, Turkey and Israel, together with overseas origins, stocks them in its refrigerated warehouses and then distributes them, besides Italy, to Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Such long-established traffic spans over the whole year and the company services include customs clearance and phytosanitary controls.
The second main business for the company takes advantage of its own warehouses’ certifications by the London Metal Exchange (LME) and the London International and Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE), authorizing the storage of non-ferrous metals, in this case primarily aluminum and copper, and coffee for trading purposes.
